Hello. We are looking for an actor to play the gym manager in Kyungsung University’s video animation graduation film [Dogma]. [Title] - ＜Dogma＞ (a blind creed or dogmatic belief that allows no criticism or self-reflection) [Genre] - Thriller drama [Logline] The protagonist, a permanently banned national boxing champion, enters an illegal fight club to earn money for surgery for her paraplegic younger sibling. After conforming to the violent rules of the underground fight club while saving for the surgery, the protagonist is told that the operation has failed due to a delayed settlement and sets out for revenge. [Synopsis] The protagonist is permanently expelled from the national combat sports team for violating a backroom contract involving match-fixing. Having nowhere left to go, she receives a mysterious business card. She visits the manager of an illegal underground fight club and enters the ring after even signing a waiver relinquishing her physical rights in order to earn money for her sibling. However, when the protagonist knocks out her opponent in an instant during her first match, the customers watching become bored and leave. The manager berates the protagonist, saying that the customers want to see the opponent being brutally beaten and trampled, and plays a video as an example of how the matches should go. In it, the protagonist’s younger sibling is mercilessly beaten and stomped on in the ring. The protagonist learns that her sibling was also a fighter at this club and ended up in a wheelchair because of the lasting effects of the injuries. She confronts the manager about what happened while she was away and has an honest conversation with her sibling. Resolving herself to move forward, the protagonist forms a team with her sibling, who has experienced the ring firsthand, in order to earn the money for the surgery. The sibling hacks into the control room’s monitors and gives instructions through an earpiece on brutal striking techniques, which the protagonist carries out in the ring to satisfy the customers’ tastes. After enduring a series of horrific matches, the day finally arrives when she is due to receive her settlement. The manager receives a request from a customer for an additional match and violates the contract to postpone the settlement by one day so that the protagonist will fight again. Because of that one-day delay, the sibling misses the golden window for surgery and is diagnosed with permanent paralysis due to nerve necrosis. Consumed by guilt toward her sibling, the protagonist decides to take revenge on the manager. On the day of the match, the protagonist deliberately ruins it by knocking out her opponent in an instant.
