Hello. I am Im Seong-hun, director of the short film ＜Sal (煞)＞. I am preparing a short film in a new genre combining school violence, shamanism, and elegant ballet: an “occult choreographic thriller.” In this production, where the meticulous mise-en-scène of director Im Seong-hun, formerly a CF/MV director and photographer, meets the destructive sound of one of South Korea’s top music directors, we are seeking lead and supporting actors (ballet majors) to complete a desperate dance of a curse with bloodied toes. We reject predictable dialogue and clichéd revenge stories. We welcome applications from those who would like to join this intense project and completely command the screen through nothing but a dancer’s movements and empty gaze.
