In 2022, I became a person with a severe brain lesion-related disability (I walk with a cane and have no cognitive impairment) due to an industrial accident at a public corporation. I spent two years and two months hospitalized and underwent outpatient treatment for a total of three years and six months. Instead of continuing to endure pointless hardships, I am publishing a book and making YouTube videos to encourage meaningful efforts. 1. Book — All publishing proceeds are donated, and 13 people, including two doctors, have contributed writings. (600 won of every 1,000 won paid by consumers is donated.) 2. YouTube — I started YouTube to strongly call for improved treatment of people with disabilities (of course, I will never monetize it during my lifetime). (Currently, approximately 15,000 subscribers / increasing by about 50 per day) - I am confident that I can make this topic successful, but I feel that my lack of ability makes me less persuasive, so I am recruiting participants for a small fee. Although the payment is small (100,000 won per episode), it should be manageable in your spare time, so I ask for your understanding. We will develop [a pen-pal friend of a person with a disability] as a long-running YouTube drama, appear on famous programs such as You Quiz on the Block, and ultimately make my goal of becoming a national wheelchair-free table tennis player for people with disabilities and your goal of becoming a 10-million-viewer actor a reality. I am confident we can do this. This project is not simply about receiving an appearance fee or building acting experience; it is about creating a portfolio connected to the Lighthouse for People with Disabilities that will become a lifelong memory.
