Her friends approach her because they want to become close, and her teacher also tries to look after her, but in the process, Ngoc is seen first not as an individual student, but as a multicultural student and someone connected to Vietnam. Rather than focusing on moments of discrimination, this film draws attention to misunderstandings and thoughtlessness that have naturally seeped into everyday life.
