Hello, I’m Yu Seomgil. After dreaming of becoming an actor, I came to realize something: “There are truly so many aspiring actors.” I could feel it just by looking at people I encountered through short-form content or even my friends around me. However, among all those people, I don’t want to be an actor who simply passes by like everyone else. I want to become someone who makes people stop and take a second look. I haven’t been acting for very long. However, I grew up under parents who majored in and teach acting, so I was naturally exposed to it from a young age. That is why acting did not feel like an unfamiliar challenge to me, but rather like a familiar language that had always been by my side. I try to interpret the characters I play naturally in my own way, so that viewers can feel them exactly as I intend and as they truly are. To make that expression more precise, I observe people’s facial expressions and behavior every day, practice imitating them, and continue pushing myself. I still remember the moment my parents were surprised when I showed them my acting for the first time. Through that experience, I became convinced of my potential and began to delve deeper. I do not doubt my potential. One day, I will be recognized on the world stage and become an actor who takes on the challenge of winning an Oscar! Thank you.
