About

I am actor Kang Young-gu. I won the Best Actor award at the 2012 Da종상 Short Film Festival for the film ＜Tears of the Goat＞ and have steadily built a strong body of work portraying trustworthy middle-aged characters and everyday people in numerous films and series, including ＜The Unjust＞, ＜The Front Line＞, and Netflix’s ＜Juvenile Justice＞. Drawing on my theater experience at major venues such as the Seoul Arts Center, Jeongdong Theater, and ARKO Grand Theater, I flexibly handle everything from the Gyeongsang-do dialect to ad-libs, adding depth and density to each scene.
