About
I am film actress Kim Yuel. In the 2026 films ‘Oil Thief’ and ‘Hanbaram: One Wind,’ I led the stories in the lead roles of Yurim and Juna, respectively. I have broadened my character range through diverse experiences, from playing the child version of the lead in ‘Ark’ to a minor role in ‘The King of Rock Paper Scissors.’ I can perform in English with a very natural, foreigner-like vibe, and through consistent training in swimming and violin, I have developed the focus and expressiveness needed on set. Above all, I earned a certification in the specialized skill of mermaid diving, enabling me to perform a variety of movements underwater!

Career
Yurim (Lead) An innocent yet determined younger sister who steals oil in a dystopian environment to bring her family back together.
Juna (Lead) A second-generation Korean-American girl. Due to her parents’ circumstances, she suddenly goes to live with her grandmother in the countryside. Having had little contact with her grandmother and facing a very different culture, she seeks out familial love as they navigate a challenging life together.
Young Noah (Supporting Role) A young Noah whose emotional expression is more important than dialogue, portraying the reasons behind the choices made by the adult Noah.
Young Seoyul (Lead) A child living through a grueling schedule in Daechi-dong, seemingly gaslighted by her mother. Watching the goldfish trapped in a fishbowl, she compares it to herself. Playing the role of an eight-year-old—much younger than her actual age—this performance centers on facial expressions and emotion.
