I spent eight years working as a high school chemistry teacher, communicating with students, before moving to Seoul to pursue my long-held dream of becoming an actor and fully committing myself to acting. I believe the experience I gained from meeting and working with a wide range of people throughout my time as a teacher has become a valuable asset in understanding characters and expressing emotions. Rather than flashy acting, I value natural rhythms and realistic expressions that feel like those of a real person. I am particularly suited to calm, trustworthy images; an intelligent presence; and realistic young adult and office worker roles. At the same time, I strive to delicately portray the inner voids and complex emotional arcs of each character. I am currently working to become an actor who sincerely understands and expresses the lives of new people.
