I am actor Joo-young Cha, with experience portraying a wide range of characters—from leading to supporting roles—across theater, film, and series. I majored in Theater/Performance Study at UC Berkeley and further specialized in Performance and Visual Media Studies at a graduate school of the arts in Korea, building a solid foundation in acting. Through diverse on-set experiences in productions including the plays ＜Dals맞이꽃＞ and ＜The Odd Couple＞, the film ＜Orange Jumpsuit＞, and the web drama ＜Gangster’s Vlog＞, I have developed a nuanced and compelling acting style. I perform naturally in both Korean and English, and my strengths in physical expression—including yoga, dance, and singing—allow me to convincingly bring each character’s energy and details to life.
