Hello. I am Jang Se-chang, a candid and healthy 28-year-old actor. At the same time, however, I am also an actor who is afraid of standing in front of anyone. Not long ago, a close senior colleague received the Park Jeong-ja Acting Award. I went to the awards ceremony to congratulate them, and before presenting the award, Ms. Park Jeong-ja said: “I’m extremely nervous. Who am I to do this, and what is theater… (brief silence) And neither more nor less, we are here in the name of theater.” In that moment, even as she trembled, I felt that she was filled with energy drawn from her attitude toward life and her experience.
