About
To me, acting is the only medium through which I can fully express myself. Even when people around me mock me by saying, “What kind of actor are you?” or “Just get a job,” I am happier than anything when I am acting in front of an audience or a camera. I have played a wide range of characters, including a drunk, a jury foreman, a student, and a murderer, and have continuously researched, observed, and practiced to sincerely convey the stories they wish to tell. The catharsis I feel when I express a character’s complex emotions onstage or in front of the camera is the driving force behind my acting. Actor Kwon Soon-mo will continue to take on new challenges. I will not give up, and whenever I take on a role, I will continuously research and study so that I never feel I have let that character down. I will grow into an actor who can inspire empathy and emotion in audiences.
