Hi, I’m Alivia Garcia, and I’m 16 years old. I’m a quick learner, and I don’t plan to give up anytime soon on doing my best to be part of a group. I do have some pimples and acne scars here and there from time to time, but they don’t diminish my confidence or passion. People may have their own thoughts and opinions, but does that mean I have to listen? I don’t think so. I’m grateful for this opportunity, and whether my acne stays or goes away, I want to be a confidence boost for girls who turn their backs on opportunities like this because they fear their faces will overshadow their talent. If I’m considered, I promise to work harder and faster than anyone else, even if it exhausts me. I’m sure I’ll still be able to stay in good condition. Do you know why I believe this? Well, I constantly work on my tennis skills, and I’m able to stay responsible through my babysitting job. I get tired all the time, but I’m never so tired that I can’t have fun!
