Hello, I’m Heo Na-young, steadily preparing to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. I am someone who is not afraid to express my emotions. Whether I am happy or hurt, I have tried to understand my feelings rather than hide them, and that process naturally led me to acting. When I began acting, what I considered most important was not “acting to look good,” but “acting that feels real.” So rather than focusing on flashy techniques, I concentrated on understanding a character’s emotions and circumstances. Even when reading a script, I try to think first about the feelings hidden behind a character’s words, rather than focusing only on the words themselves. I believe that a character’s story can be conveyed even through the smallest expression or the slightest shift in their gaze. I cannot yet say that I am a fully accomplished actor, but I can confidently say that I am an actor with plenty of room to grow. My greatest strengths are my willingness to acknowledge my shortcomings and keep learning, as well as my perseverance in delving deeply into any role I am given. My goal is to become an actor whose performances remain in someone’s heart for a long time. I will continue growing into an actor who gives my all to every scene and every character. Thank you.
