Hello. I aspire to become an actor who delicately portrays people, relationships, and the flow of emotions. Through acting, I want to reveal the reasons and context hidden beneath a character’s outward appearance. I find the process of considering why each line and action occurs at that particular moment, and making the character’s choices feel naturally convincing to the audience, deeply engaging. I believe acting is not a technique for showing, but an act of understanding and responding. My greatest strengths are observation and adaptability. I closely observe the way people speak, their gazes, and moments of silence in everyday life, and strive to incorporate those subtle differences into my acting. I am also quick to accept feedback and tend to use criticism as an opportunity for growth. Since I do not yet have extensive experience, I believe it is also a strength that I can flexibly embrace various forms of direction and guidance without being constrained by fixed habits. My specialties include script interpretation and emotional-arc analysis. When I receive a script, I first organize the character’s objective, their relationship with the other person, and where the emotions in the scene begin and end. Because I prepare by imagining not only the emotions expressed outwardly but also those left unspoken, I aim for acting that is realistic and never excessive. I consider natural expression in everyday dialogue and scenes where a quiet but palpable tension flows to be particular strengths. My acting style is closer to responding to circumstances than expressing emotions in a grand or overt way. Rather than giving the impression that I am “acting” in front of the camera, I aim to make it seem as though the character truly exists. To achieve this, I consider details such as breathing, eye movement, and speaking pace important, and I continue to practice them. The direction I pursue as an actor is to become a “trusted actor.” Regardless of the size of the role, I want to approach each project and set with sincerity and become an actor who gives the people I work with a sense of security. More than making a short-term impression, my goal is to hear, even after a project ends, “I would like to work with that actor again.” Going forward, I want to broaden my range as an actor by experiencing diverse genres and characters. I am particularly interested in realistic characters, relationship-centered stories, and works in which emotional changes build delicately over time. At the same time, I want to become an actor who is not afraid of new attempts and challenges, and who shows growth beyond the previous level with every project. I am not yet a fully realized actor, but I believe that makes my potential and determination to grow all the more evident. I will give my best to every opportunity I am given and grow into an actor audiences will want to keep watching for a long time. Thank you.
