Herbalist - Episode 1 opening. A son who has spent three months searching for medicinal herbs for his sick mother. Eun-ho (Kim Hye-yoon) suddenly appears and asks for directions to Hanyang. After he absentmindedly gives her directions, she tells him where to find the herbs and suddenly disappears. The herbalist rejoices, shouting, “I’ve struck gold!”

Cow shed keeper - The owner of the cowshed where sick children secretly hide. When Eun-jo (Nam Ji-hyun), who is searching for the children, arrives, he reluctantly gives directions, then is startled when the children are discovered.

Da-som’s father - Da-som’s father, hospitalized after an accident. Da-som wants to save up little by little to give her father a pair of gloves, but ends up being scammed... With Chief Choi’s (Jang Hyuk-jin) help, she obtains the gloves again, and gives them to her father.

Drunk passenger - A passenger in Nak-su’s (Ryu Seung-ryong) designated-driver car. In his sleep, he puts his legs above Nak-su’s head. Su-gyeom (Cha Kang-yoon) disapproves, honks the horn, and wakes the drunk passenger. The passenger wakes up complaining that his legs hurt... looks bewildered, then falls asleep again. Nak-su and Su-gyeom smile.

Shooting-range owner - The owner of the shooting arcade Eun-oh (Jung In-sun) and Seong-jae (Yoon Hyun-min) visit on a date. He praises their skills and gives them a teddy bear as a gift.

Broker - A real estate agent who confirms for Gi-ga-young (Suzy) that the gamjatang restaurant property is on the market, and asks whether she is interested.

Factory worker - A colleague of Ji-eun’s (Lee Seung-yeon) father at the factory.

Police officer - A police officer attempting to arrest David (Daniel Dae Kim), who has pursued Rebecca (Reina Hardesty) after she noticed something suspicious, fired a warning shot, and fled. David quickly escapes, and the police report an emergency over the radio.

Worker - Final episode. When a fire breaks out at the factory during a break, he urgently informs the boss and tries to put it out. After the episode’s protagonist dies in an explosion, a factory colleague grieves.

Man - A man who stops at the tavern where Jwapan-daek (Kim Young-sun) and Deok-su (Kim Ji-eun) are staying while posting notices seeking Deok-su (Kim Ji-eun), and grabs a meal. As a long time has passed, he talks with a companion about how she may be dead and orders gukbap.

Construction worker - The supervisor at the construction site where Dong-jae (Lee Joon-hyuk) goes undercover. A construction worker who scolds him, teaches him the work, and passes along information.

Room 301 - The crime scene visited for investigation by Mu Jung-ryeok (Park Ji-hwan) and Jang Tansik (Lee Seung-woo). At first glance, it appears to be a murder scene, but the owner had simply passed out from a hangover after drinking too much bokbunja wine. After being scolded by the owner, they realize they came to the wrong place and Mu Jung-ryeok and Jang Tansik hurry away.

Man - A man whom a gangster begs to gamble just one more time. The man says he cannot because his pinky has been cut off, but the gangster intimidates him, saying he can use his left hand. At the moment of crisis, he is saved with the help of Myeong-yoon (Hong Ye-ji).

Hardware store owner - The owner of the hardware store where Sumin (Song Ha-yoon), who is on the run, comes to buy thinner. He recognizes Sumin and reports her.

Rebel army member - A member of the rebel army who delivers the truth to the people and secretly stages protests. He is in a dangerous situation, pursued by the government.

Commoner - A commoner who turns against Hyeonjong (Kim Dong-jun) and his party while they are fleeing, but, moved by Hyeonjong’s sincere appeal, cries out “Your Majesty!” and bows.

Gaya refugee - A refugee from the fallen kingdom of Gaya.

Man from an environmental protection group - When Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) lives in a huge tent in Hangang Park with Hyeon-su (Joo Woo-jae) and Teacher No (Gyeong-ri), a man stages a sit-in, insisting that it must be removed to protect the environment. After being thoroughly beaten by Kang Nam-soon, he goes to the police station and threatens them instead.

Pharmacist - A rural pharmacist who sells Jang-yeol (Lee Min-ki) a more expensive medicine instead of the one he wants. He speaks indirectly in a Chungcheong-do accent, but Jang-yeol cannot understand him at all, and Deok-hee (Jo Min-guk) explains it in plain language from beside him. After leaving the pharmacy, Jang-yeol sighs that this is not the kind of neighborhood for him.

Lightning Man sound director - The sound director at Lightning Man’s (Cha Tae-hyun) performance. Just as the sound director senses something strange during the show, an accident occurs due to Lightning Man’s electrical powers.
