Hello, I’m actor Jisu Hyeon! I’m someone who can always grow even the smallest, most insignificant things into something very large within me, and I’m also drawn to things that are somewhat overlooked. Above all, I’m a fun person. (Haha) One of my strengths as an actor is my emotional sensitivity and the deep empathy that comes from it. I cry easily, but I also laugh a lot. More than anything, people close to me most often describe me as funny—I have quite an appetite for comedy—so I’m a multifaceted and entertaining character who can make jokes with my mouth while tears are streaming from my eyes. Haha. I’m also always drawn to things that are slightly outside the mainstream. I believe that someone who can look at things that have been marginalized is warm-hearted, and at the very least, someone who is capable of facing the many things that happen in life. I have a hobby and habit of reading 3–5 books a month, watching more than 10 films, and keeping a daily journal. Through these indirect experiences, I fill in even the things that are difficult to experience firsthand and continue broadening my horizons of thought. I always try to look beneath the surface of life, and whether positive or negative, I try to fully embrace all the truths of life that I encounter. I would say that I’m someone who wants to embrace every loss, pain, joy, and happiness completely. I believe that this attitude toward life will serve as a foundation for creating good performances. I’m an actor who can take on any role with a sense of responsibility, nurture it, and bring it into the world! I hope we can build a wonderful connection and work together. Thank you!
