In truth, I am not very good at forcing or fabricating things. My expressive voice emerges only where a character’s logic meets my own natural sincerity—not through exaggerated acting built on falsehoods. Rather than displaying emotions in an overt way, I strive for performances that leave a character’s inner world lingering. I am drawn to characters who appear composed on the surface yet hold a clear narrative within, and to figures audiences can interpret for themselves without being told everything. I will not be an actor who passively adapts like a component to whatever direction is simply given. I will read the context of the work as a whole and leave a deep, vivid imprint in the role I take on.
