About

I am actor Kang Il-woong, with extensive experience across film, television dramas, and commercials. I have consistently brought credibility and depth to middle-aged characters such as police executives, law firm managing partners, department heads, researchers, and fathers. Through stable on-screen chemistry and realistic performances in a wide range of productions, including the films ＜The Roundup: Punishment＞, ＜Exhuma＞, and ＜The Night Owl＞, as well as tvN’s ＜Queen of Tears＞ and ＜Little Women＞ and Disney+’s ＜Tempest＞, I have steadily built a strong presence. I also took on two roles in the play ＜Death of a Salesman＞, demonstrating my versatility and originality on stage. With detailed expressions tailored to each work’s tone, I will bring every scene to a convincing finish.
