Hello, My name is Joy, and I am a Korean actress and model currently based in Tokyo, Japan. I moved to Japan in 2020 to study abroad and spent two years each studying acting and modeling at a vocational school. After graduating, I chose to remain in Tokyo and have continued working professionally as both an actress and a model. As part of my acting training, I completed courses in voice, diction, and announcing, which allowed me to develop a high level of Japanese proficiency. Today, I perform naturally in both Korean and Japanese roles, enabling me to work across a wide range of productions. Building on my language skills, I have recently worked on Korean-Japanese co-productions as a Japanese dialogue coach, script translator, and on-set interpreter. I have also provided interpretation for stage greetings and other promotional events, gaining valuable experience both in front of and behind the camera. Having lived and worked in both Korean and Japanese cultural environments, I believe my greatest strength is the ability to approach diverse characters and productions with flexibility and authenticity.
