Francis Dufour was born in Edmundston, a French town in New Brunswick, Canada. When he realized that his hockey career wouldn't go any further, he decided to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. During his studies, he joined a theatre committee out of curiosity and didn't find acting terrible at all. He worked many jobs in the field of Kinesiology a few months after graduating, but the thought of acting was always in the back of his mind. Two years later, Francis graduated with distinction from the Toronto Film School's Acting for Film, TV & Theatre Program. He is best known for "Close To The Edge" (2021) and "Dog Shadow" (2022). Taking a break in 2024, Francis enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces and served for 2 years as an infantry soldier. He is now back for new acting opportunities in Seoul.
