As a child, I learned to play various instruments, including the ocarina and clarinet. Although I initially started without choosing to, the process of learning sounds and refining the sensations in my fingertips taught me the meaning of learning that is built over time and effort. That experience became the foundation of my approach to art. Later, while learning dance, I discovered the joy of standing onstage. Expressing emotions through my body to music felt like a language of its own. Whenever I danced, I felt as if the stage and the audience were breathing as one, and from then on, I came to genuinely love “conveying emotions through the body.” That experience became an important turning point that led me to acting. My interest in acting was decisively shaped by the children’s plays and puppet shows I watched with my mother as a child. I was deeply impressed by how the actors onstage conveyed emotions through a single expression or gesture, and I began dreaming of becoming an actor who could move people’s hearts. Even now, I believe the most important thing in acting is the balance between physical awareness and sincerity. When emotions do not come easily, I begin by creating the body’s responses. I finely adjust the angle of my gaze, the rhythm of my breathing, and the pace of my lines to find moments the audience can believe in. And I genuinely enjoy that process. I believe my greatest strength is the perseverance to continue this process diligently. Today, too, I move toward truly authentic moments. Through every experience that lies ahead, I will grow into an actor who moves the hearts of the audience.
