Jungsang is a rigid, by-the-book person who categorizes people different from himself as abnormal and treats them like aliens. After meeting a character named Haesung, he realizes that people are not abnormal simply because they are different from him, but that each person has their own unique traits.

Baek Seung: A character who is trapped in gambling and unable to escape. He borrows money from loan sharks and friends, living under constant pressure from debt collectors, but cannot quit gambling. He appears in a public service announcement and participates in an anti-gambling campaign, but he does so only to raise money for gambling. The story shows that gambling should not be started, even out of curiosity.

Minjun: He does his utmost for his master, even to the point of giving up on himself. He is obsessive about his work. Ultimately, the story shows that there is no need to please others at the cost of losing oneself.
