[Announcer and MC Lee Byung-chan, combining skill and responsibility] Hello. I am Lee Byung-chan, an announcer from a KBS regional station. Based on the experience I have built across a variety of broadcasting settings, I take pride in being an announcer with solid, dependable hosting skills. At KBS Andong, I hosted TV and radio news programs as well as live radio programs. In particular, I hosted both ‘Morning Plaza,’ a current-affairs radio program, and ‘Joyful Radio: This Is Andong,’ an educational and cultural program. Through these experiences, I have developed versatile hosting skills spanning current affairs and educational and cultural content. My strengths include adjusting my tone to suit each genre, delivering accurate information, and communicating naturally. I also spent more than a year as the MC of ‘People of the Crime Prevention Policy Bureau,’ an interview program at the Ministry of Justice’s broadcasting station that introduced the Ministry’s policies, affiliated organizations, and employees. To help guests unfamiliar with broadcasting feel at ease, I reduced their tension through pre-shoot icebreakers, such as chatting with them before filming. During filming, I created a warm atmosphere and drew out richer content through clean, organized hosting and witty conversation. As a result, the program achieved 10,000 views, and I received a commendation from the Director-General of the Crime Prevention Policy Bureau in recognition of my contribution. These experiences have helped me grow into an announcer with strong capabilities who can be put to work immediately. In addition, I run my own YouTube channel, reaching 1,000 subscribers in just four months and currently having more than 2,200 subscribers. In particular, through planning and hosting the interview series ‘Emotional Trash Can,’ I have shared diverse stories of people’s lives, from the struggles of a minor-league professional baseball player to the joys and sorrows of office workers. The series drew strong empathy and reactions from viewers, including one video that recorded 600,000 views. This also allowed me to confirm my potential as an anatainer. Moreover, I always approach every responsibility with an unwavering sense of responsibility. For example, when I hosted ‘Morning Plaza,’ a morning current-affairs radio program at KBS Andong, I was always the first person to arrive at work and prepared thoroughly for the broadcast. In addition to carefully reviewing the scripts in advance, I studied the broadcast content in greater detail by searching for and thoroughly reading related articles, given the program’s current-affairs focus. I also always went into the studio early and diligently warmed up my voice. In this way, I went on air only after achieving the best possible condition and making flawless preparations, and I hosted the program without a single incident. I also received favorable feedback from listeners that the content was easy to follow. With my extensive experience at various broadcasters, solid hosting skills developed through new-media work, and responsible attitude, I take pride in possessing the qualities needed for the role. Through these strengths, I will deliver accurate and highly reliable information, while also entertaining viewers with witty hosting. I will also contribute to creating a better atmosphere on set based on deep trust with my colleagues. Thank you.
