This paid television production internship offers selected candidates the opportunity to gain exposure to the professional television production process and learn how projects move from early development and pre-production through filming, post-production, and final delivery. Interns may work alongside experienced entertainment professionals while gaining practical insight into both the creative and operational sides of television production. This opportunity is particularly suited for candidates interested in careers in: Producing · Production Management · Development · Casting · Creative Production · Post-Production · Entertainment --- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned production or department and may include: - Support day-to-day television production and administrative activities - Assist production executives, coordinators, producers, and other production personnel - Help organize production schedules, calendars, contact lists, and project documentation - Prepare materials for production meetings, creative meetings, table reads, and internal presentations - Take meeting notes and track follow-up items and production deadlines - Assist with organizing scripts, production reports, call sheets, schedules, and related documents - Conduct research for current and upcoming television projects - Assist with communication and coordination between creative, production, casting, post-production, and other departments - Maintain organized digital production files and shared resources - Provide logistical support for meetings, screenings, and production-related events - Assist with special projects as assigned - Gain exposure to professional television production workflows and industry practices --- WHO SHOULD APPLY We are looking for motivated candidates who are genuinely interested in television production and entertainment and are eager to learn within a fast-paced professional environment. Strong candidates will demonstrate: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Attention to detail - Professionalism and discretion - Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines - Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team - Initiative and willingness to learn - Strong interest in television, film, streaming content, or entertainment - Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software --- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Previous professional entertainment experience is not necessarily required. Relevant experience may include: - Student films or television productions - Short films - Web series or digital content - Production assistant experience - Film or media coursework - Script coverage - Editing or post-production - Student media organizations - Entertainment or production internships - Content creation Candidates with familiarity with production terminology, scripts, production schedules, or entertainment-industry workflows are encouraged to highlight this experience. --- EDUCATION Candidates should currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Relevant areas of study may include: Film & Television Production · Cinema Studies · Producing · Communications · Media Studies · Screenwriting · Digital Media · Entertainment Business Other academic backgrounds are also welcome where the candidate can demonstrate a strong interest in television production and entertainment. --- BASIC ELIGIBILITY Applicants should: - Be 18 years of age or older - Meet the applicable Disney internship education/enrollment requirements - Have authorization to work in the United States - Be able to maintain reliable availability throughout the internship - Be prepared for a full-time internship schedule of approximately 40 hours per week - Be able to work in the greater Los Angeles/Burbank area as required - Be responsible for housing and transportation during the internship unless otherwise stated by the employer --- COMPENSATION $23.00 PER HOUR Paid Internship Final compensation, benefits, schedule, internship dates, work location, and other employment conditions are determined by the employer and should be confirmed through the official job listing and offer process. --- WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN Selected interns may gain exposure to the full television production lifecycle: Development → Pre-Production → Casting → Production → Post-Production → Delivery The internship provides an opportunity to better understand how television projects progress from an initial creative concept to finished entertainment content.
